David L. Hulett - Chief Operating Officer & Tournament Director

David L. Hulett

Mr. Hulett, a retired Employment Benefits Consultant has been associated with the south Florida tournament for over 25 years as either a participant, Team Organizer or Staff member. Mr. Hulett has held the position of Chief Operating Officer of the south Florida tournament since 2001 and was hired by the MBA in 2009 to continue with operational responsibilities for the new corporation. The COO position within the MBA structure does not serve as a board member. Under Mr. Hulett's leadership, the tournament has gained a reputation for a high level of operational excellence and is considered by many as the premier masters basketball tournament in the United States and among the finest in the world.


Lisa Reinhard - Director & Assistant Tournament Director

Lisa Reinhard

Ms. Reinhard is a Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Chemed Corporation, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has been associated with Chemed since 1994. A native of the Cincinnati area, Ms. Reinhard is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. She was elected to the MBA board in 2010. In addition to her board duties, Ms. Reinhard also serves as the Assistant Tournament Director.


Pete Battaglia - Supervisor of Officials

Mr. Battaglia, a seasoned Investment Advisor, leads the Battaglia Group, specializing in Retirement and Estate Planning at Raymond James in Weston, Florida. Mr. Battaglia has held the Supervisor of Officials position for the MBA for the past five years and has been instrumental in bringing a very high level of quality to the MBA officiating staff. Mr. Battaglia has been officiating for over 40yrs including over 30yrs at the collegiate level.

Mr. Battaglia fully understands the uniqueness of the MBA National Senior Championships. He recruits primarily experienced collegiate officials who are appreciative of the event and its status as the most highly acclaimed masters basketball tournament in the country.


Jerry Hauck - Supervisor of Gym Operations

Jerry Hauck

Coming to Coral Springs from the Buffalo New York area, Mr. Hauck is now retired from a successful career in the Glass and Mirror business. He has been involved with the basketball community in the city of Coral Springs for over 30 years. He joined the Coral Springs Basketball Club as a coach and player in the Men's League in the summer of 1981, managed the league for many yearsand continues to play in the league to this day. He also coached in the youth leagues for the club and had seven successful seasons as the Head Girls Coachat Douglas High School. With a decade of Masters tournament experience as Supervisor of Gym Operations, it is Mr. Hauck's responsibility to make certain that all of the shot and games clocks in the gym are set up and operating properly, that the basketballs are in proper condition and that all gym facilities are in first class shape to conduct a quality tournament. Jerry has never failed to have everything ready.


Marilyn Rule Heinrich - Supervisor of Game and Office Administration

Marilyn Rule Heinrich

Ms. Rule Heinrich, returns for her sixth year as a key staff member of the National Senior Championships. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where she played from 1990 - 1992, she also holds a Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Education & Sports Management. Currently a teacher and Assistant Athletic Director at J.P. Taravella High School in Coral Springs, she inaugurated the Women's Basketball Program at Nova Southeastern University where she successfully coached for eleven years taking the program from NAIA to Division II. Combining over twenty years of playing and coaching experience, Rule Heinrich also owns and operates the Rule Basketball Camp that is conducted at J.P. Taravella High School during the summer months.
